University offers reflect breadth of talent at Colfe’s
Colfe’s sixth form students have been receiving their university offers this month including conditional places from Cambridge to read Modern Languages and History. This is alongside offers from Russell Group universities to read subjects as wide-ranging as Economics, Biology, Optometry, Anthropology, Law and Architecture. Following the six students who received offers for Medicine in 2016, this success consolidates Colfe’s strength in preparing pupils for the most demanding and competitive of university courses.
Other offers this year include a scholarship from the Guildhall to read Music, an unconditional offer from the University of South Wales to study TV and Film Set Design as well as places at a range of institutions to study Computer and 3D Animation, Interior Design, and Aviation Studies with Pilot Training.
Well done to all who have worked hard to receive their University offers. The variety of subjects our students hope to study reflects the diversity of Colfe’s – a school that nurtures and promotes talent in all forms, not just academic achievement alone.
