Within Art children have the opportunity to work on a variety of techniques such as: drawing and painting, collage, textile, 3D design, printmaking and digital media.

In all Key Stage 2 year groups we aim to develop IT skills, building upon previous experiences and developing them further.

The teaching of English covers three main areas: speaking and listening, reading, and writing.

We encourage children to develop their knowledge of people and places by looking at the local areas and issues as well as those in the wider world.

Learning Support help pupils throughout their Colfe’s journey, ensuring a smooth the transition to the Senior School.

At Colfe’s the ‘Busy Ants Maths‘ scheme (Collins) is used as the basis for learning in order to ensure every objective from the National Curriculum is taught.

PSHE gives children the tools to help them understand how they are developing both socially and personally and endeavours to investigate wider moral, social and cultural issues.

KS2 children learn about the six major faiths of Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, Sikhism and Hinduism.

Science is a key part of our curriculum - it aims to be awe-inspiring and develop children’s understanding of the world around them.
