Computing

At Colfe’s we use IT in most subjects and allow the children the opportunity to develop their skills in a variety of different ways. We have a suite of computers that all the children visit each week where they can access a wide variety of programs that cover all areas of the curriculum. We also have banks of laptops and iPads which the children make full use of in computing lessons as well as other subjects across the curriculum.

In all year groups we aim to develop IT skills, building upon previous experiences and developing them further. We also aim to introduce new experiences to help further their enjoyment of IT, such as using coding, animation and photography.

We take E-Safety very seriously and teach children how to be safe online; this can include external workshops or presentations on the latest safety advice.

Art & Design

Within Art children have the opportunity to work on a variety of techniques such as: drawing and painting, collage, textile, 3D design, printmaking and digital media.
