Assessment & Entrance Exams
Information for main entry points
The entrance examinations at 11+ take place in January each year and candidates are required to spend a full school day at Colfe’s. The morning will consist of assessments in English and Mathematics, followed by lunch and an afternoon of taster lessons in Culture, Arts and STEM subjects. Please find links to sample papers for the 11+ entrance examination on the right.
NOTE: Candidates will spend the assessment day in ‘bubble groups’ of up to 25. The format of the day is subject to change and latest COVID-19 government guidance.
Year 7 (11+) scholarship assessments for 2021 entry will be held from 9-22 January 2021. Offers will be sent via post on 11 February 2021. Acceptance date is 5 March 2021.
The Sixth Form entrance assessment involves a written personal statement as well as two recent school reports and reference. Successful candidates will be invited to interview and offers made are conditional on achieving at least four Grade 7/A at GCSE.
Nursery & Reception Assessments
