Leatherseller Scholarship

A ground-breaking scholarship programme, changing lives

Each year  The Leathersellers’ Company  fund free places for able pupils from state schools to study for their A-levels.

Over 90% of Colfe’s leavers gain places at their chosen university and former Leatherseller Scholars have gone on to study at some of the country’s leading Russell Group institutions including Oxford and Cambridge.

What qualifications do I need?

Most applicants need to achieve at least five Grade 8s at GCSE. However, if your current school does not usually score highly at GCSE we may set you a lower target. In addition, you should qualify for the government’s pupil premium** or your family income should be below £40,000 a year. If you are unsure if you are eligible, please contact our Admissions team to discuss further.
