Co-Curricular
Enrichment beyond the classroom
Sixth Form is more than A-levels. This is a time in your life to explore and develop personal skills, broaden your horizons and start making your mark on wider society. It’s a time for forming friendships, developing your own ideas and beliefs and exploring wider interests which you can enjoy for the rest of your life.
Colfe’s has a thriving and inclusive co-curricular programme, with a wide range of opportunities in sport, music, art and drama for Sixth Form students. And with dozens of additional societies and clubs – from debating, culture and literary societies to space design, current affairs, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – you have unlimited opportunity to escape from academic pressures, develop and pursue passions and interests, and find kindred spirits amongst your fellow students.
As well as forming a core part of your A-level courses, many additional enrichment trips are offered, from ski trips to cultural visits both in the UK and abroad.
Years 12 and 13 are also an important time for personal development, growth and independence. We offer opportunities to discover where your strengths lie: leadership courses, community and volunteering projects, prefect responsibilities and mentoring younger pupils are just some of the experiences you can explore.
Art & Photography
We encourage you to be involved in art throughout your time at school.
Drama
Whether its acting, costume, set design, sound or lighting you’re interested in, there’s a role for everyone to play.
Music
Pride, participation and progress are at the heart of music-making at Colfe’s.
Clubs & Societies
With over 100 clubs and societies running across the school year, there is an opportunity for every pupil to get involved in something they really enjoy.
Sport
Focus on the best? Or develop the rest? People often think it has to be one or the other, especially in sport.
