Old Colfeian Reunions

Many generations of Old Colfeians came together in May for two joyful reunions. On 10 May, 16 of our Old Colfeians met for lunch and a catch up at the Parkstone Yacht Club overlooking the picturesque Poole Harbour. Attendees spanned four decades from the 1940s through to the 1970s. The group were joined by Colfe’s Head Richard Russell, who gave a speech informing the guests on developments at the school.

On the 23 May, Old Colfeians, who joined Colfe’s as early as the 1950s and who left as recently at 2009, met at the spring reunion in London. One lucky former pupil even walked away with a £500 bonus prize from our Old Colfeian 300 Club lottery.

Any pupil of Colfe’s automatically becomes a life member of the Old Colfeian Society when they leave the school. The Old Colfeians host regular events and the society has real benefits for growing professional networks through links with other former pupils. It is an opportunity for fellow Colfeians to reminisce, catch up and stay in touch. It also offers alumni the chance to make introductions, offer advice or to act as mentors to current students and recent school leavers.
