Saturday Sport

Competitive fixtures might be on hold but that hasn’t stopped Colfe’s pupils from perfecting their sporting prowess.

Every Saturday between 08.00 and 10.00, Years 7 to 13 are invited to train with the Colfe’s Sport Department and compete against each other in mini-tournaments. Sports include rugby and girls football on the main playing field, hockey and netball on the all-weather surfaces; athletics at the Leathersellers’ Sports Ground and water polo in the Leisure Centre pool.

Director of Sport Nicci Rayes said “I am delighted that so many of our pupils are keen and committed to maintaining their fitness and skills –  when competitive sports are able to recommence we’ll be in a great position.”
