Tougher Minds programme at Colfe’s

Colfe’s School has now been working together with Tougher Minds for six years. The award-winning resilience programme for both parents and pupils combines insight from the latest developments in neuroscience with practical techniques that can be used to manage motivation, concentration and confidence.

Since launching at Colfe’s back in 2011, Tougher Minds has become an integral part of the curriculum preparing Year 7 pupils for health, happiness and high performance – inside and outside of school. Sessions are also run concurrently for parents to encourage understanding and practical advice to enhance the skills learnt at home.

Tougher Minds Head of Education Andrew Foster said “We have enjoyed working with hundreds of Colfe’s parents over the years and hearing them feedback on how they and their children are flourishing by making small but regular changes to their habits is fantastic. The programme keeps improving, we have added new productivity and motivation techniques and I’m looking forward to sharing these and others with new parents this year.”

A new course begins after half term on Monday 6th November. Colfe’s parents wishing to participate can book their place here.
