Footballers win Sevenoaks Futsal Tournament

Colfe’s has won the highly-competitive Sevenoaks U18 Futsal tournament against Tonbridge, Kings Canterbury, Worth, Brighton College and Sevenoaks.

Colfe’s eight-strong squad took part in this fast moving five-a-side version of the game – beating Sevenoaks and King’s Canterbury and drawing against the others putting them in first place overall.

Head of Football Mr Berridge said, “The boys were unbelievable in their positive attitude, their work rate and their skill. This was nail-biting stuff – a last second equalizer against Worth in the final match won us the tournament. This was a great example of outstanding team play –well done to Charli Howard, Ben Debney James Martin, Joe Gardner (Year13) Chris Harris, Sam Harrington, Edward Breed and Harry Brooks (Year 12).”
