New roles for Senior Management Team

Mrs Donna Graham (left of picture) joins Colfe’s as Deputy Head, a new role with a range of senior responsibilities including deputising for the Headmaster in his absence.

Previously at Forest School where she was Senior Mistress, Donna was also a professional musician after studying violin at the Royal Academy of Music.

“A new role means I have a real opportunity to shape it and make a difference to the future of the school.

“I am here to help smooth the path for our very talented body of teachers in creating amazing lessons and experiences. The pupils are of the utmost importance and our job is to enable and encourage each one to achieve their full potential – getting to know them as quickly as possible is my main priority.”

Ms Catriona Macleod (right of picture) joins Colfe’s as the new Head of the Junior School. Catriona has over 23 years of experience in education and was previously Head of Dunottar Junior School for Girls, Knightsbridge Junior School and latterly, acting head of a free school.

This is an important time for Colfe’s as the former pre-prep and nursery and prep schools are combined to create one united junior school.

“I was sold on Colfe’s when I was shown round by the Deputy School Captain whose charm and confidence made me think that if this is the kind of pupil the school produced, I definitely wanted to be a part of it.

“Bringing the schools together will be my main challenge over the next year but I can already see how well the children are enjoying whole school activities.

“Colfe’s has given us both an amazingly warm welcome and we feel part of the family already. The school is moving from strength to strength and it’s wonderful to be here.”
