Tickets now on sale for Carmina Burana performance

Colfe’s Music Department is delighted to announce it will be performing Carl Orff’s famous Carmina Burana.

The stunning cantata, composed in the 1930s and inspired by a series of medieval poems, will be performed by Colfe’s School pupils, parents and staff on Monday 20 November at St Alfege Church in Greenwich.

Rehearsals for the performance are underway and Emma Bond, Director of Music Carmina Burana, said: “The driving rhythms and the pounding forces of orchestra and choir combined with two pianos and three percussionists will make this a breathtaking event. Over 120 performers, including principals from The Royal Opera House Covent Garden, will ensure this event will be remembered by Colfeians for years to come.”

Tickets for the event are available in advance by booking online here or on the door on the evening. All welcome.
