Junior School unveil new link building

After extensive building work (and a little dust) staff, parents and pupils alike are thrilled with the newly renovated Junior School link building. The new light and airy reception area is a welcoming space for young Colfeians and visitors to enter the school.  The link joins the previously separate EYFS and Key Stage 1 building with Key Stage 2.

Award-winning Architects BBM Sustainable Design were commissioned for this important project to link the Junior School buildings. The company won RIBA’s ‘House of the Future’ competition and is known internationally for creating low energy modern design buildings. 

Catriona Macleod, Head of the Junior School said, “Joining the new building was the final step in making us one whole school. We are thrilled with the new facilities we now have. The entrance is warm, bright and welcoming befitting of the school it represents.”
