COVID test centre opens

Along with the other protective measures already in place at Colfe’s, lateral flow testing is now available for those working regularly on-site and keyworker pupils attending the Senior School.

Those taking the test are being supervised by trained staff and results, which take around half an hour from testing, are shared directly with those participating. The testing is being offered free of charge on a weekly basis.

Deputy Head Donna Graham said “Testing staff and pupils is vital to help stop the spread of the virus. We are committed to keeping Colfe’s open as safely as possible and having access to lateral flow testing gives everyone coming into school the peace of mind to do so.”

Headmaster Richard Russell said “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff volunteers who have worked to get the test centre up and running so quickly. It is of utmost importance we play our role in keeping the school community safe during this time.”
