Boxing win for Year 12 Pupil

Amateur boxer, Necati, Year 12 has secured a fantastic win at a boxing bout in Belfast. Representing London’s Repton Boxing Club in the 60kg weight category against Dockers A.B.C, Belfast, Necati was awarded the winner’s trophy after a stoppage in the first round.

Cheered on by his Repton team mates, Necati rose to the challenge and put on a fantastic show of boxing prowess. The sport is excellent for teaching discipline, promoting fitness and mutual respect amongst competitors.

Necati said “I have been training hard to prepare for the bout and was delighted with the win. I also enjoyed the chance to take part in a tour of Belfast to help me understand something of the city’s interesting history and culture.”

Necati’s aim is to compete at Senior level in the England Boxing National Amateur Championships and we wish him every success with this ambition.
