A-level Art & Photography students exhibit work

Twenty Art & Photography students from Years 12 and 13 are exhibiting their artwork alongside other local artists as part of the St Michael’s Art Gallery (SMAG) in Blackheath.

Since 2017, the SMAG Exhibition brings together professional and emerging artists from the local community. In the past, this event has featured over 80 artists and more than 200 pieces of art. Most of the art is available to buy and money raised from sales goes to local foodbanks and other charities in south east London.

Work being exhibited by Colfe’s students includes drawings, paintings, prints and photography – totaling 39 pieces – and all are up for sale.

Mrs Gudge, Head of Art, said “This is the second year running that our students have been involved and it really is a fantastic opportunity to showcase their work and their extraordinary talent.”

SMAG opens on Thursday 18 November, 18.30-21.00 and runs until Saturday 27 November at St Michael’s Church, Blackheath. Find out information on viewing dates and times.
