Weekly Group Lessons

Group swimming lessons are a cost-effective way for your child to learn how to swim. With group sizes averaging eight and a teaching assistant in every class, our lessons help swimmers move through the stages seamlessly.

One-to-One and Two-One Lessons

If you prefer more time and attention for your child, or your child simply learns better in a quieter setting, our one-to-one and two-to-one lesson offer just that. Allow our professional teachers to hone your child’s progress and help you move through the stages quickly.

Holiday Intensive Lessons

Throughout most holidays, we offer 45 min group intensive lessons, generally running every day across five days a week. These longer lessons are a great way to ensure quick improvement or to introduce your child to swimming lessons.

Adult Lessons

Colfe’s Swim Academy offers adult one-to-one and group lessons, for swimmers of all abilities, from complete beginners, or those wanting to improve their stroke and technique.

Cover Private Lessons

If a regular customer is unable to attend their scheduled lesson, we offer their spot as a Cover Private Lesson. These lessons become available for others to book on a first-come, first-served basis.

What Do I Need to Bring With Me?

What should swimmers bring to their lessons?

Swimmers will need to bring a swimsuit and a towel. We provide a complimentary swim hat at the first lesson, which can be collected from our reception. Please note that replacement hats may incur a charge. If your swimmer uses goggles, please remember to bring those along as well. A selection of Zoggs goggles and swimwear is also available to purchase at reception.

Why Are my Monthly Fees Different From Usual?

Monthly fees are taken at the start of each month from your saved card, and are for the upcoming month. For example, if there are five weeks in the month, you will be charged for five lessons.

What Happens if I am on Holiday, and I Cannot Attend a Group Lesson?

As we operate a rolling programme for group lessons, you will pay for the whole month even if you are not able to attend.

What Happens if my Child has a Medical Issue and Cannot Swim?

Please send in proof of your medical reason. We will then be able to credit your account for your following payment. Medical proof includes a doctor’s note, prescriptions, or a hospital letter.

Waiting Lists

How does the waiting list work?

Our waiting list operates on a priority system. Spaces are offered in the following order:

  1. Swimmers progressing from a previous stage

  2. Swimmers transferring to the same stage on a different day or time

  3. New or returning customers

Why has my waiting list number not moved?

Your waiting list number is a general reference and does not reflect our priority system. This means someone with a higher priority may be offered a space before you.

Should my child continue swimming while waiting for a new class?

Yes. Because our stages include some progression overlap, we encourage children to continue in their current stage while wearing their new swim cap. This allows them to keep developing their skills without interruption.

What happens if I leave the programme?

If a swimmer leaves the programme, their priority status is removed, and they will re-join the waiting list as a new customer if they return in the future.
