PAFA
Bringing families together and creating a community
The Parents’ & Friends’ Association (PAFA) help and support the school in a variety of ways, fundraising being one of the most vital. Fundraising events include the Christmas Fair, second-hand uniform sales, an impressive annual fireworks evening and lots of social events.
Money raised provides additional funds for the school and occasionally also for chosen charities (these are highlighted in advance). Funds are donated for a variety of projects and equipment that benefit the maximum number of pupils, the allocation of which is decided at PAFA meetings following requests from school departments.
PAFA meetings are held each term – and everyone is welcome. It’s an opportunity for everyone to be involved in deciding how funds should be spent, as well as a chance to ask questions of the Head Teacher.
PAFA relies solely on the contribution of parents and friends for its success. There are many different ways in which you can help and the experience of being involved is always rewarding.
Please contact pafa@colfes.com if you would like to get involved in any way, however small. We appreciate and value every single moment of your time; of course we also urge as many people as possible to attend PAFA run events.
