Year 12 & 13 (Sixth Form) - The sixth form offers a bridge between the directed study of GCSE and the independent learning required at university.

Students benefit from a large Sixth Form with a wide range of subjects, a competitive but social environment and an emphasis on developing independence and individual target setting. The Sixth Form Booklet outlines the programme of study for AS and A2 courses in detail and the qualifications required for entry.
It is normal for students to take four “mainstream” subjects to AS level and to continue three or four of these to A2 level. A number of students take 4 or even 5 subjects to full A level. Students also have the opportunity to take General Studies AS in the Lower Sixth and can take the full A level in Upper Sixth.
