Congratulations to Jasper Cook, Year 11, who performed extremely well in the National
Junior Indoor Rowing Championships. Jasper came 29th out of 68 rowers in his age group in the championships which are one of the largest indoor rowing events in the world. Jasper said “I am very pleased to come in the top 50 percent of such a prestigious competition and I found it a thoroughly enjoyable and exciting experience. Other competitors had the opportunity to train more frequently but I am determined to continue working hard and to do even better at the next opportunity.”
Director of Sport, Mrs Rayes, said “Jasper has done extremely well in a tough competition. He has obviously been training hard and it has paid off. He is 'oarsome', well done Jasper!"
