Activities
The principal activities of the Club are conducted via the sporting sections which, while being
autonomous in their organisation and management, are all responsible to the Management
Committee.
Soccer
Founded in 1894, the CFC has a number of teams in the Southern Olympian League and also runs a
Veterans XI. The Club also participates in a number of cup competitions including the Old Boys
Cup.
Cricket
The formation of the Cricket Club coincided with the Old Colfeians Association taking possession
of Horn Park in 1902. Our Saturday XIs play in the Kent League and our Sunday XIs enjoy social
cricket. A strong colts section is well established, having close links with Colfeās School and
participating in various leagues. There is organised coaching throughout the year for cricket.
Rugby
Founded in 1928, the OCRFC plays a full part in the National League structure and has achieved
enviable success for many years. The club is a past winner of the Kent Cup and has a long tradition
of sevens rugby, having won many trophies. A well organised colts set -up supports the senior club
and organised coaching is available throughout the year.

Badminton
The Badminton club was founded in 1934 when the main hall of the clubhouse became available. It
meets on three evenings during the season and has a number of teams playing in Ladies, Men's and
Mixed Leagues. Non league players are also welcome.
Bowls
The CBC was founded in 1934. The green is renowned for its excellence and the club has benefited
by winning both the League and League Cup competitions many times. The club is also successful in
county competitions and has several county players among its membership. A Ladies Section is a
recent and welcome addition.
Squash
Two courts are available for use by members of the Club and their guests. Ladies and men's
changing rooms and shower facilities are adjacent to the courts.
Netball
The newest of our sporting activities has been established specifically to take account of
co-education at Colfe's and to ensure that we offer appropriate facilities to former pupils.
Masonic Lodge
The Lodge is established for former pupils, parents of former pupils and their sons. Further
details are available from the Secretary via the Clubhouse.
