University application

Sixth Formers begin preparing for university application and entrance in the spring term of Year 12. Through seminars, lectures and presentations, they are advised on the administrative processes and importantly, the nature of the competition. UCAS forms are sent off in October of Year 13.
Through the careers advisors and academic departments, students receive guidance on courses, open days and interview preparation. The Sixth Form Society meanwhile, offers extra support in preparing Oxbridge applicants, medics and lawyers for university application

University options
With the increase in the fees students will have to pay from next year to study at UK universities it may be worth looking at other options. There are several countries which offer degrees taught in English around the world apart from the obvious ones in USA, Australia and New Zealand.
