Junior Mathematics Challenge 2010
On Thursday pupils from the top three sets in Year 8 and the best mathematicians in Year 7, (a total of ninety nine children in all), sat the Junior Mathematics Challenge. This is a competition held annually by the United Kingdom Mathematical Trust. The competition is to challenge the most able students in Years 7 and 8 in a fun way. Outdoor Pursuits

Christmas Science Club
Year 7 and 8 students had the opportunity to enjoy some Christmassy Science fun at the end of last term. The club was held at lunchtime and students who participated were able to grow their own crystal snowflakes, make some fake snow and observe silver forming on a copper Christmas tree. All students who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves, particularly making the fake snow and were able to take their projects home at the end of the week. The Science department are intending to hold more themed Science clubs, like this one, throughout the year.
Business Trip to Canary Wharf
Our class was eager to go to Canary Wharf; the reason for this was because we had been chosen to go for a business trip. It was on a Wednesday, we left in the morning and took ages going to Canary Wharf and Mr Otley went past Credit Suisse (the place we were meant to be going) three times! Read more...
Dulwich College U12 Invitation 7’s Tournament
The U12 Rugby team followed up their victory in the St Olave’s 7 a-side tournament by winning the Dulwich College U12 Invitation 7’s Tournament. It is the first time for a number of years that the school have been invited to play and the first time we have been successful. The boys played extremely well to win this prestigious event, going undefeated throughout the competition and caps what has been a very good season for the whole U12 squad. Colfe’s Victory at Dulwich 7’s Rugby tournament
On Saturday 7th March the Colfe’s 7 a side rugby squad travelled to Dulwich College for a rugby sevens tournament. It was the first time that Colfe’s have been invited to this prestigious tournament and the competition was tough. The squad managed to win all of their qualifying matches beating Dulwich Prep. Collet Court and London Oratory, before defeating Whitgift and Eltham College to get to the final. The final against a strong John Fisher was a decisive and well deserved victory after all the hard training and the commitment that the team had shown. Read more...
