Thousands of schools take part in BBC’s School Report day, and today Colfe’s is one of them.
The students in 8D are working hard to get stories written up, interviews filmed and all of it edited and perfected for the final product, which will be going up on the school website later today. Some of our stories may even be broadcast live on BBC news, including our story on the major incident in Lee which happened less than a year ago, very close to the school. We interviewed Boris Johnson’s ambassador for youth, James Cleverly, (who was a pupil at Colfe’s) about safety in our area and what is being done about knife crime. Another of our stories is about a pupil at Colfe's, TJ, who has a part in CBBC’s M.I. High.
These are only a few of the stories we will be writing up today, so watch this space…
