The aim of the Religious Studies Department is to enable pupils to learn about religion and to
learn from religion. The school has a Christian foundation and Christianity forms an important part
of the curriculum. However pupils study the beliefs and practices of the world’s major religions so
that they have an understanding of what it means to live in a multi-cultural society.
