A Musical Triumph
Eighty pupils from the prep and senior school gave magnificent performances at the concert celebrating Abraham Colfe’s induction as Vicar of Lewisham 400 years ago. A harp solo from Lia and a trumpet solo from Olivier (both ex-prep school pupils!) were interspersed between items from the Prep Choir and St.Mary’s Church Choir. Read more...

House Music 2010
The annual House Music Competition took place on the afternoon of Thursday 20 May in the Main Hall. The first unenviable task for our guest adjudicator, Mrs Marilyn Harper, was to judge the House Singing Competition performed by Year 7 as part of their initiation into Senior School life! Lower School Platform Concert
A Pupil Reviews the Lower School Platform Concert, which took place on Tuesday 13th October 2009: I always look forward to the Lower School Platform Concert each term as there is an eclectic mix of musical choices and a variety of instruments being performed. Each house had to perform a song of their own choice in front of the other houses. The winning house was Prendergast, who performed the song ‘I’m a believer’. Some of the judge’s comments included such praise as: ‘lovely chorus illustrating good phrasing’ and ‘good use of dynamics and words’. We were delighted to be able to present the house captains of Prendergast with the newly acquired House Singing Competition cup. Read more...
