The French department uses a variety of teaching styles to make French as accessible as
possible to all pupils. We
use Métro 1, 2 and 3 text books in Years 7, 8 and 9 respectively, and we have many other
resources such as games, magazines, videos and DVDs to ensure that students enjoy learning French
and achieve their maximum potential. All pupils study French in Year 7, and continue this through
to Year 9 (with the introduction of a second language alongside French at Year
8).
