Gambia October 2009
Our objective on the October 2009 trip to The Gambia was to finance and help to build a new domestic science classroom at Kotu School which is needed for a variety of reasons. The new building is an extension to an existing group of girls’ classrooms, and provides more space than the existing room as well as much better storage and office facilities; the old room, which adjoins the computer classroom, will in due course be turned into an extension of the computer room so that most of the school’s computers will be close together.
