All pupils follow courses in English (two GCSEs) and Mathematics. They also take Biology,
Chemistry, and Physics and are entered for the Dual Award (2 GCSEs) examination. All pupils must
also take a Modern Foreign Language and either History or Geography. They then take a further
two subjects from French, Spanish, German, Latin, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Art,
Drama, Music, Design Technology, Business Studies and Physical Education. All pupils also follow a
non-examined course in Active Citizenship and PE.
At GCSE the
majority of pupils study for a total of 9 subjects. All pupils have an afternoon of Games each
week. ICT continues to be delivered across the curriculum.
