Trips and visits

Trips and visits bring pupils face to face with the world outside the classroom. For example, History students have visited the British Museum, the Tower of London and the Transport Museum. And external experts bring the world into the school.

Well known children’s author Joe Craig talked to pupils during World Book Week about how writers work creatively; he said, 'The Colfe’s children really opened up their minds, and I also hope that they can now see that you can make a living in a different way.'

Year 3 pupils studied Ancient Greece through great works of art in a day-long workshop run by the educational charity Magic Lantern - and they incidentally raised over £250 for the charity by holding a cake sale.
