A Musical Triumph
Eighty pupils from the prep and senior school gave magnificent performances at the concert celebrating Abraham Colfe’s induction as Vicar of Lewisham 400 years ago. Tuesday the 22nd June saw the musical recital hall turned into a mathematics class room when thirty-two pupils from local junior schools participated in the Year 5 Mathematics Master Class. Sousafun Comes to School
Sousafun are two professional musicians who visited the school this Monday. The surprise came when they demonstrated musical points by the use of some really extraordinary equipment. The main instruments that Sousafun play are the Sousaphone and the Clarinet, but the real showstopper came when the pair showed that almost anything can become a musical instrument. Read more...
