Homework

Homework is important. It helps pupils to consolidate and extend what they do in class, and how to learn and research on their own.  And of course it lets our staff assess pupils’ knowledge and understanding.

We ask parents to check and sign their children's homework planner daily.  This is where pupils record the homework that has been set, and the planners are checked regularly by tutors.  We know parents will sometimes want (or need) to help their children - but please don't answer on their behalf or put in more work than they do.
