Hot on the heels of ‘Exam Week’, Year 7 embarked on a much needed trip into the City, with
planned visits to the
Leathersellers’ Hall and the
Tower
of London. On 12
th June - armed with clip boards, worksheets and packed lunches - half of year 7 boarded
a busy train and eagerly headed for the
Tower of London.
After an initial and brief talk about our visit, we were split into different groups and the
main focus of my group was the Stuarts (1603 – 1741). Guided by our
Tower
of London maps (which were fortunately much smaller than our school Geography Ordnance
Survey maps!) we headed towards places of interest.
