A group of pupils from Year 8 spent an exciting afternoon at Headcorn aerodrome in Kent experiencing the thrills of skydiving. They spent an hour in a wind tunnel which creates wind speeds of upto 125mp - enough to allow a person to be quite literally lifted off their feet - and the sensation is excactly the same as a skydiver would experience during freefall.
