Pushing for Oxbridge
Julia Hall 11F and Kane Morgan 11F are very talented academics.  Julia has always wanted to be a veterinary surgeon.  She would like to go to an Oxbridge college in order to pursue her dream and the school feel that she will do so.  Julia says, ‘I am working incredibly hard on my studies and in other areas, for example, the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme, in music and singing too, and, academically speaking, I work for three or four hours a day on my studies. Overall, I hope to realise my full potential and gain a place at Oxford or Cambridge.’
Kane, on the other hand, is less sure about a future career, but he is currently, ‘doing three hours work a day.  I am looking forward to straight A* grades and my favourite subjects include the Sciences.  I have not yet decided on my future career, but the recent Careers’ Day was very useful indeed.’  Kane could very well secure straight A* grades and many teachers are currently looking forward to teaching him at A level.
