Amelia of 9B and Hugo of 9D are delighted to have been elected to the School Council. In the
elections, Amelia expressed her wish to listen to the views of her peers before the first full
meeting of the council next half term. A pupil known for her caring and considerate nature, Amelia
promises to work hard at achieving realistic but meaningful progress with issues important to both
girls and boys in Year 9. Hugo’s election campaign was particularly buoyant, showing the school the
richness of his outgoing personality. Though equally as caring and considerate as Amelia, Hugo
promises to petition Edward, the President of the School Council, with some gusto, which will
undoubtedly raise a few eye brows.
