Over 100 of South East London’s finest minds gathered to pit their wits against each other at the annual PAFA Quiz Night. Teams such as Where’s Chris Brown? and The Fab Four (there were actually nine of them!) all struggled to name the theme tune, remember the artist and recognise the celebrity… with mixed success. It was a very close contest, with the final victors, Dawn’s Devils, winning by just one point to take home a crate of fine wines, individual medals and a trophy! There was also a £1 entry true or false round, which raised £90 for Breast Cancer Awareness. This was an elimination contest, where each question had to be answered true or false with those choosing correctly remaining in the game. And the last man (or, rather, girl) standing? Alice Foster, a Year 8 student, who beat the amassed parental knowledge-base hands down, winning herself £50 in the process.
