The aim of the Year 9 Ecology Club is to create a nature reserve at Colfe’s School capable of
sustaining a variety of wildlife, from micro organisms to more well known local wildlife such as
birds, bees and bats. Colfe’s is committed to a long term project that will produce a rich, diverse
meadow; thriving pond area and an important bog garden, for local wildlife. Colfe’s nature reserve
will generate educational studies to compliment the Biology curriculum at Colfe’s and offer
learning opportunities to local primary schools through visits and access to display work.
